Our Story

STOlogix emerged from a team of turnaround professionals who not only regularly dream up tools, but also manage STO events across the industry and around the country. With more than 100 years of combined STO project management experience, our senior staff has developed and utilized tools that make our team competitive and ultimately, produce a better product for our customers.

Since 2005—and for years prior—we have employed, enhanced and improved our planning system in the trenches while supporting dozens of STOs. From plant-wide turnarounds to emergency outages, our team has seen it all. Through the process, we’ve learned how to “keep it real” and used that experience to create tools with a significant impact on project outcomes. Feedback from our clients and input from users enabled the fine-tuning of STOplanner and the creation of our four supplementary modules as well.

Scott Kammerer
President & CEO

Scott Kammerer is a highly accomplished professional, revered as the President and CEO of KAP Project Services, a renowned company in the field of project controls and management. With a steadfast dedication to his craft, Scott has been instrumental in shaping the success of the organization.

Scott’s journey in the industry began after his graduation from Texas A&M University in 1989, where he earned a degree in Construction Science. Armed with a solid educational foundation, he embarked on a career path focused on project controls and project management. Scott’s early professional experiences at esteemed companies such as Fluor Daniel and Jacobs Engineering allowed him to refine his skills in project engineering, scheduling, and cost control. During this time, he actively contributed to the execution of large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, honing his expertise in managing complex and multifaceted endeavors.

In 2001, Scott ventured into the world of turnarounds, taking up a role as a project controls consultant. His sharp acumen and innovative thinking led him to develop cutting-edge planning and cost-control software solutions. These solutions streamlined processes, enhanced efficiency, and delivered remarkable results for major turnaround projects. Recognizing the immense potential and demand for these innovative tools, Scott seized the opportunity to establish KAP Project Services in 2005.

As the founder of KAP Project Services, Scott assembled a team of industry-leading project controls professionals who shared his vision for excellence. Under his leadership, the company has flourished, gaining a strong reputation for delivering exceptional services in project controls and management. Scott’s strategic vision and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction have propelled KAP Project Services to the forefront of the industry.

Sid Dickerson
Vice President of Operations and Software Development

With over 30 years of experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, Sid has an extensive background in construction, maintenance, and turnaround execution. His early career in construction and execution gave him the foundation and experience to make a seamless transition into the project controls arena. Over the past 20 years, Sid has found success as an Estimator, Planner/Scheduler, Project Controls Manager, and now Vice President at STOlogix.

Sid joined KAP Project Services in February 2006, and among his many duties, he has guided the continual development and implementation of our industry-leading project controls software solutions. In 2018 STOlogix was formed, and Sid is heading up the effort to bring these STO tools to the industry. His experience with STO events ensures that the products developed are rooted in sound project control fundamentals and will help bring the STO industry into the digital age.

Terry Wagner

Terry R. Wagner is an application architect for STOlogix, a KAP project services company. STOlogix provides industry-leading project control software solutions to the oil and gas industry. Terry has 40-plus years of experience in Computer Sciences and Aerospace and over 20 years in the petrochemical industry, specializing in project controls. Throughout Terry’s project controls career, he has been responsible for designing, developing, and implementing project controls solutions to add to productivity and share information in the digital age. Terry designed the first project controls solution for the cloud. Terry has worked with KAP Project Services for over 14 years in application development and support, with assigned roles in project controls and cost engineering.
